How do I add items to my shopping cart?

To add a product to your shopping cart, click the “Add To Cart” button on the product details page. All discounts and promotions, unless indicated as "Phone-in or in-store offer only," will be automatically applied to your order.

How do I remove items from my shopping cart?

To remove a product from your order, go to the shopping cart and click on the garbage can icon next to the quantity of the item you wish to remove. The item will be removed and your subtotal will be automatically updated.

How do I change the quantity of an item in my Shopping Cart?

To change the quantity of a particular item in the Shopping Cart, click on the drop-down menu under the “Quantity” heading for the product you’re interested in. The page will automatically update both the item total and the order subtotal when you select the correct product amount.

How do I add an extended warranty to my product?

You can add a warranty to a product during the first step of the checkout process. When you check out, you will be asked if you wish add a warranty to each product that is eligible for a warranty. You can either select “Protect All Products” at the top of the warranty section, or choose the warranty you want for each product. When you have selected the preferred warranty for your item(s), click the “Continue” button in the lower right corner of the page.

Can I pick-up my online order instead of having it delivered?

Yes. All online orders can be picked-up at your local Brick Distribution Centre or at select Brick and UFW store locations. Select the “Choose your pick-up date” option in the delivery section of the checkout process, and then select the location and date you would like to pick your order up. Please note that the first and last name of the person picking up the order must be provided, and a valid photo I.D. confirming the person's identity must be presented at the pick-up location before the order is released.

What types of payment methods can I use online?

UFW.com purchases can be made using the Brick Card Platinum, Visa credit or debit cards, Mastercard, Discover card and American Express.

Can I use my gift card for online purchases?

Unfortunately, gift cards for UFW are not able to be redeemed or purchased online. They can, however, be purchased at UFW or any Brick Group store and used in-store for any furniture, electronic, appliance or mattress purchase. Brick gift cards may be purchased for any amount between $10 and $2,500 per card. Your gift card balance is available by contacting customer service toll-free at 1-800-354-1881. Please have your gift card number available and ready when you call.

What are the environmental and recycling surcharges I see on my total?

UFW charges Environmental Handling Fees on certain electronics shipped to, delivered to or picked up in provinces or territories where we are required to do so by law. This Environmental Handling Fee reflects the applicable provincial rate and appears on your checkout page. All fees and surcharges must be paid in full at the time of purchase and are not eligible for Do Not Pay, No GST/PST and other promotional discounts. Visit your provincial government website for more information on the specific environmental program it provides.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?

Yes. Purchases are refundable at any time prior to the delivery or pick up of the product(s). Refunds will only be made to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the purchase. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or, if the debit card holder is not present, the payment will be refunded by cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Payments on special orders are non-refundable after the product is shipped from the manufacturer.

Delivery and Shipping

Where in Canada do you deliver?

UFW is proud to ship to anywhere in Canada. Most areas are served by our premium delivery service. Areas not served by UFW delivery are cared for by contracted third-party courier and shipping companies. Some products are also available to be shipped via Canada Post's Xpresspost service.

Do you deliver to the United States?

UFW does not currently deliver anywhere in the United States of America and online or phone transactions from American customers cannot be accepted at this time.

Can I pick up my online order instead of having it delivered?

Warranties and Protection Plans

Does UFW honour manufacturers' warranties on the products they sell?

Yes, UFW honours all manufacturers' warranties. All furniture that does not come with a manufacturer's warranty is covered by a one-year Repair Warranty from UFW.

Does UFW offer extended warranties on furniture?

Yes, UFW's Blanket Five-Year Furniture Plan can be added to almost any furniture purchase and covers most construction and craftmanship defects that may occur. You can select extended warranties for products during the checkout process.

Does UFW offer extended warranties on appliances and electronics?

Yes, UFW's Full Circle Protection Plan can be added to almost any appliance or electronic purchase and covers a broad range of repair and replacement costs. In addition, all Full Circle Protection Plans offer purchase value guarantees. If you don't make a claim, you'll get the full value of your Full Circle Plan purchase price credited back to you at the end of your coverage period toward your next furniture or mattress purchase.
